Behind the Shoot: How We Captured Multiple Client Stories in One Day for Amped Kitchens
Every content shoot is different, but occasionally a project comes along that brings together storytelling, purpose, and exciting logistics in equal measure. Our recent production with Amped Kitchens was one of those projects. (We even got to wear hair nets all day!)

The Objective
Amped Kitchens wanted to showcase what makes their business unique: the entrepreneurs, chefs, and organizations that operate in their commissary kitchen. Rather than telling that story through marketing copy alone, they wanted their clients to share it themselves.
Our goal was to capture authentic client stories that highlighted how Amped Kitchens has helped businesses launch, grow, and operate more efficiently, then transform those stories into videos and photography for use across their marketing channels.
The challenge? Filming seven individuals, professional photography, and b-roll across multiple locations in the commissary in a single production day, all while keeping every conversation authentic and planning the entire shoot in less than a week.
Our Approach
Working closely with the Amped Kitchens team, we developed interview questions, planned camera positions, identified supporting b-roll opportunities, and built a production schedule that allowed multiple clients to move seamlessly through the day.
Throughout the day we captured interviews with businesses, including:
-
Susan Feniger & Mary Sue Milliken, Co-Owners & Founders, Mundo Hospitality Group / Feed Folks
-
Max Dornbush, CEO, Mundo Hospitality Group / Feed Folks
-
John Clarke, Executive Chef, Feed Folks
-
Monica Sidarous, Founder, Real Food Devotee

Behind the Shoot
The short reel below offers a behind-the-scenes look at the production day and the collaboration that brought each story to life.
The Result
In a single production day, Amped Kitchens received a versatile library of content, including six edited videos, professional photography, and authentic client stories that reflect the real impact Amped Kitchens has on the businesses and organizations it serves. Now these stories can be shared across social media, their website, sales materials, and future marketing campaigns.
The greatest measure of success isn't what we say about our work. It's what our clients say about their experience.

Why It Worked
Producing content doesn't have to mean coordinating multiple vendors, juggling schedules, or managing a fragmented creative process.
By bringing together production planning, photography, videography, creative direction, and post-production editing into one experience, the team at Amped Kitchens was able to stay focused on their clients while we focused on capturing their stories and transforming them into content that works.
That's exactly why AFTR exists.
Thinking About Your Next Content Shoot?
Whether you're growing a brand, supporting clients as an agency, or creating content as a founder or creator, your next shoot shouldn't begin with finding five different vendors.
It should begin with telling a great story.
If you're ready to create authentic content that works, we'd love to help.
